We’re Bricking it…

YouTube user Trislux (who plays Minecraft on PS4) has recreated Kojima’s terrifying P.T. demo.

As the video below shows, the version excellently recreates the floor plan of the original demo, and even gives the impression of it’s never ending, looping gameplay. Trislux has also included picture frames, desks and even deep lighting in an attempt to fully recreate the horror demo.

And if that wasn’t enough, he has also included spooky doors that open and shut with minds of their own, and even a hulking figure that lingers by the ‘front door’ of the apartment before giving chase.

Kojima’s P.T. (which stands for Playable Teaser) was later announced as a reboot of the popular survival horror franchise Silent Hill, a collaboration between director Guillermo Del Toro and actor Norman Reedus. The short glimpse of gameplay offered in the demo, and a haunting, surrealist cinematic released a couple of weeks back has given fans hope that the once great series will make a return to form.

Personally I quite like the cuboid Minecraft look, it adds a touch of polygonal horror, and a pinch of the first Silent Hill to proceedings.
